Fourth Of July And Pets

Please be aware that on the 4th of July Companions are the most vulnerable. On this day, Companions go missing, due to the loud noises of fireworks going off. It is the highest percentage of missing companions of any other holiday.

In order to prevent this from happening, precautions are a must. Microchipping pets should be a priority and if you can’t microchip, there are alternatives.

Having a collar and tag with your address and phone number is a must. Keeping your companions inside in a safe secluded room, with food and water. Tv or radio on to drown out the loud noise. Have toys as well.

Make them comfortable as possible to make them feel safer.

Companions are family and we must do everything we can to prevent harm. This goes for any and all types of companions.

Have a happy fourth and remember to stay safe.
