I’m going to try and lay down some common sense for a lot of people out there. Because it surely is lacking.

No other President took classified or declassified documents out of office. Each president has to go through the process of declassification of the documents. The process is then made on record. Trump did not go through this process. Therefore It was not fully declassified.

If he did absolutely nothing wrong, the warrant would not have made the table and then become approved, by a judge. The FBI are not required to tell the public what the documents are. That’s between them, the judge and any lawyer that may become involved.

The populace has no rights to know anything here. Especially, when it comes to classified documents, that could endanger the country. All documents are supposed to go to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). Not to an ex-Presidents residence.

These are facts not alternative information. Just because you don’t like these facts, doesn’t make it any less true.

I’m all for truth, I’m also 100% behind laws being followed. He was repeatedly asked for the return of the documents for months. He refused and hid behind, his followers and lawyers.

He incited violence AGAIN. Which caused followers to shoot up an FBI office. Causing a casualty.

How is this okay? Let them do their job. If Trump is innocent, they can prove that via court trials. If he’s guilty then he’s guilty.

300 documents were taken. None of which were properly declassified. This is a crime with a prison sentence of 20 years to life. No one is above the law of this country. Not even the POTUS or ex-POTUS.

If these people were truly “patriotic” as they claim. They would be disgusted by the actions of the very person, they voted for.

Crafting For The Homeless

With colder weather coming soon. If you have a hobby like knitting, crocheting or tailoring or quilting. Many people have become homeless due to the pandemic. They’ll need Scarves, hats, gloves, blankets and warm clothing.

They’re struggling to provide for themselves and family.

Help them by making these items and donating to Goodwill, Salvation Army, food pantries. Or directly to the homeless shelters in your areas.

There are tons of free crocheting, knitting, tailoring and quilting patterns on the web and Pinterest and Even Instagram.

When donating food it must be shelf stable. Something that will last awhile. Non-perishables.

It may not be much yet every little bit helps.

President-elect Joe Biden has pledged to ban new oil and gas leasing on America’s federal public lands and waters on Day One of his administration.

Nearly a quarter of the country’s total greenhouse gas emissions come from public lands due to coal mining and oil and gas drilling. We can’t keep leasing public lands to the fossil fuel industry and have any chance of reducing emissions or seriously confronting the climate crisis.

And due to Trump’s executive orders of undermining the Environmental Protection Act, along with the Water Protection Act. Big companies such as BP and Keystone, are free to muddy our waters with chemicals. Whilst also spewing poisonous gases into our ozone layer.

Just because Biden pledged to halt and undo Trump’s actions doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll DO. Let’s make him keep his words. By using our voices and signature.

How To Find Lost Cats.

Missing cats:

Put a box outside with a blanket or sweatshirt that you have worn. Cats have a very strong sense of smell and it will help them find their way home. Look for the cat at dusk and dawn (any time at night when it’s quiet) using a flashlight. Look under bushes, decks in sheds or garages – especially when it’s cold. The light reflects off the cats eyes and you will be able to see them a few blocks away. Shake their bag of treats. (This usually makes them come running home.)

Post flyers around the neighborhood. Not everyone has facebook. Also post them at pet stores and other places that have bulletin boards like WAWA. Give flyers to the mailmen and bus drivers in the area and ask your neighbors to check their sheds and garages. Call the vets, shelters and police in the area.

Getting your cat microchipped will help in the future if they should escape again.

FINDING INDOOR ONLY CATS WHO ARE LOST

Indoor only cats rarely travel far – they seek an immediate hiding place (under a deck or porch, under brush, in a garage or shed) and hunker down out of fear. Immediately start searching around your house as well as your neighbor’s houses with a flashlight (get on your hands and knees and shine the light under decks etc) – shake a treat bag and call it’s name and listen for a possible soft meow. (they are too scared to come out) ASK YOUR NEIGHBORS TO OPEN GARAGES AND SHEDS TO SEE IF THE CAT GOT LOCKED INSIDE.

They can stay in this spot for weeks! Indoor only cats RARELY come out during the day – they only come out after dark and into the wee hours of the morning. Be sure to check the surrounding trees as cats are often chased up trees and will sit up there for days and days….

Cats have an amazing sense of smell – put their bedding, your dirty clothes/shoes, and a tiny bit of strong smelling wet cat food outside to attract your cat.

Set a Humane trap (like a Hav-A-Heart wire trap) bait it with smelly cat food….this is sometimes the ONLY way to catch a scared indoor only cat AND IT WORKS!

Hang LOST posters immediately and give one to every neighbor as too many people just assume when they see a cat that it is a stray – if they know you are looking for your cat they will be extra vigilant and want to help. Ask them to take a photo of any cats they see in your area –sometimes people think it is your cat but it is not.

Immediately contact your Animal Control Officer and provide photos/description. Also contact local shelters, rescue groups and Vet offices. Post on Facebook on both local, county, & state pages (i.e. “Lost & Found Pets NY, NJ, PA, etc.)

Whatever you do, don’t give up and stay calm.

Too Much Cruelty In The World

With the recent events that have unfolded, I am really disgusted by the whole situation. A pandemic that could have been prevented if the POTUS took action sooner, and did not evacuate American Citizens from the red zones without quarantine first. (Not Fake News) That’s exactly what he did, before quarantine was even established he allowed them to go to their homes. He also fired the medical experts that could have set up relief for those returning, yet since they were there for the “Obama Administration”, you guessed it, the whole reason he fired them.

POTUS and those in the republican party are refusing to listen to the medical experts, so if ideas do not coincide with POTUS, you become disregarded and attacked. The facts are – Masks and social distance have proven to be effective. Take Pennsylvania for example – cases have gone down because of the Measures the Governor has taken. However, the republican party have been cruel and not leading by example. In fact they have gone without masks for meetings and a majority of them do have COVID-19.

How can people be so cruel to place others at risk to this virus? Does no one understand the severity of this virus? Has no one read the statistics and or long term side effects? Much of the side effects are lung related, losing approximately 45% of lung capacity. I would not wish that on anyone, not even my worst enemy. Yes, sure not everyone gets the severe case of COVID-19 and makes a full recovery, however, what about those who don’t have the immune system to battle this horrid virus? Do we just keep thinking the weak should die off and let the strong survive? How is this compassionate, how is that PRO-LIFE? Simply put it’s not.

Pandemic aside, we then have Police Brutality and lethal force. Yes, more of it is being caught on film. However, it’s not just black lives on the line. White, Spanish and Natives have been cruelly beaten and even have died. Yet the media will not cover that. I want to know why! Why is it the responsibility of ALT-Media to cover these events, when ALT media barely gets any recognition. Since 2017, Whites have been killed by cops 435 times. Spanish 250, Natives 184, and Blacks 340. Other ethnicities – 150. I think we can safely assume, that cops abuse their power and use lethal force on EVERYONE. Everyone is a target where cops are concerned, and it needs to end, sooner the better.

Police Reform has been in the talk for years, and no one could ever agree on a logical way to make reform happen. The fact is police are not trained to deal with mental health issues, or trained to help with disturbances. They are militarized, trained to catch hostile individuals. With police reform, funds would be allocated to social workers, and those in the medical field, which would allow them to be on-call 24/7. On top of this, police would also be retrained. Yet, for some reason – some people see this as a bad thing. It really isn’t, it’s actually a logical and sound way to proceed, to protect people.

With all that aside, I want to address the animal cruelty that took place during the protests and riots. Horses were stoned, by a cruel individual, I don’t remember what state it was, however, how does this help you get justice for anyone? How does tying a dog up and beating him/her to death help either? How is this sending a message for reform or to end brutality with police. It’s not, it’s only making it apparent that you are a sick individual needing to be placed behind bars!

Leave the animals out of this mess.

Unless you are freeing animals from pet shops and finding them homes during this time. Just leave them alone and stop the cruelty. There is way too much cruelty in this world as is. Why add onto the hostile ongoings that are transpiring in front of everyone.

I’m just fed up with it all and I know others are as well. I think people need to be re-educated, period. Humanity has lost their minds, lost compassion and empathy for others. It’s an all about me. myself and I attitude anymore. No one except for a few is thinking – We not me. Truly – this nation is divided. And no POTUS I’m afraid can change this anytime soon.

That’s how much faith I’ve lost.

No More Starving Farm Animals: Petition

In 2018 the public were mortified by hundreds of images of starving animals on Australian farms in yet another year of drought.

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a statement to say that they are expecting lower than average rainfall and higher than average temperatures through Spring into early Summer, resulting in a “low chance of recovery for drought-affected areas”.

Despite these forecasts there is no indication from either the meat or dairy industry that breeding programs will be restricted to accommodate much lower feed availability in the coming year. Instead farmers are culling Australian wildlife in a hope that this will allow sufficient pasture to remain.

We call on Meat & Livestock Australia and Dairy Australia to significantly restrict breeding programs to avoid a repeat of the mass starvation of farm animals seen this year and to preserve Australia’s wildlife. Farm animals are sentient beings who suffer dreadfully if not adequately fed and it is simply immoral to breed an animal that you cannot feed.

We ask that Meat & Livestock Australia and Dairy Australia take firm action to bring breeding under control so that they can guarantee that no animal suffers from starvation on any Australian farm in 2019.

Tuesday, July 30th, 2019: 2 people were murdered at Walmart #0848 in Southaven, Mississippi. 

Saturday, August 3rd, 2019: 22 people were murdered at Walmart #2201 in El Paso, Texas.

In light of these recent tragedies — a mere snapshot of the gun violence epidemic plaguing the United States — and in response to Corporate’s inaction, we as employees are organizing several days of action, to protest Walmart’s profit from the sale of firearms and ammunition.

Walmart is a company that has always placed its associates and customers first; we have recently made great strides toward fostering a safe, inclusive, and progressive community. Last year, Walmart raised the minimum age to buy a firearm or ammunition from 18 to 21. In 2015, Walmart removed products resembling assault-style rifles from its inventory. Nonetheless, Walmart remains one of the largest retailers of firearms in the United States, and there is a direct correlation between the number/availability of guns and the amount of mass shootings per capita.

Yes, we have made great strides already, but now we must organize to shape this company into a place that we can all be proud of. As associates, we can and must leverage our power and ability to change our company for the better.

We have one demand, and that is all. We value Walmart and our fellow associates, but we are no longer willing to contribute our labor to a company that profits from the sale of deadly weapons.

We would like to see Walmart take a unified and public stance against guns and gun violence. We urge our leadership to cease the sale of all firearms and ammunition, ban the public open and concealed carry of weapons on company property and in all stores, and cease WALPAC donations to NRA backed -A/A+ politicians.

Simparica: Warning – Dangerous Drug For Dogs

Zoetis the company that manufactures the flea and tick drug Simparica, have been falsely claiming that the drug is safe. In truth, the drug is known to cause deadly seizures and ataxia in pets who take the drug.

Even the FDA and AVMA knew of the hazardous side effects linked to Simparica, yet still approved it to be used for the treatment of fleas and ticks.

Four flea and tick products may cause seizures, tremors, and lost coordination in some cats and dogs.

Food and Drug Administration officials have received thousands of reports of adverse events connected with three products—Bravecto, Nexgard, and Simparica—containing drugs in the isoxazoline class. The agency approved a fourth product, Credelio, containing a drug in the class this year.

“The FDA is working with manufacturers of isoxazoline products to include new label information to highlight neurologic events because these events were seen consistently across the isoxazoline class of products,” a Sept. 20 announcement states.

The agency has approved all four products since 2013 for treatment and prevention of flea infestations and treatment and control of tick infestations. They are safe and effective for most pets, but veterinarians should use patient medical histories to decide whether isoxazoline-class drugs are appropriate, the announcement states.

Siobhan DeLancey, who is a spokeswoman for the FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine, said the agency has received about 5,400 reports of adverse events connected with the drugs.

She provided a statement that said agency officials are seeing reports of neurologic events at similar rates across the isoxazoline product class, when those reports are compared with sales data. But the agency is unable to compare among products because it’s impossible to know how many of the doses sold have been administered.

Researchers who conducted preapproval studies saw some of the neurologic signs, and some of the product labels already note that potential, DeLancey said. In the reports of adverse events since approval, some animals developed seizures with no known history of them.

Most of the reports involve dogs, but whether the risk is higher in dogs or cats is unknown. Only one of the products—Bravecto—is approved for use in cats.

FDA reports that summarize evidence used toward approval of the four products include descriptions of seizures, tremors, ataxia, and lethargy among a small number of dogs and ataxia in a few cats involved in clinical trials. Results of one trial for Simparica involving a small number of 8-week-old puppies, for example, indicated that those that received higher doses were more likely to have neurologic signs.

Do not give your companion animals these medications. The seizures are a lifelong side effect. It does not go away at all. Once neurological damage takes place there is no reversing the damage. There is only a long road of treatments via more medication.

For the correct information on dealing with seizures. You are supposed to move everything dangerous out of their way. Cushion their head as well as gently hold them and comfort them, Until the seizure has passed.

If your companions are suffering from seizures it’s best to take them to a Veterinarians Office immediately after the episode. Preferably a different veterinarian who didn’t prescribe the medication.
